Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a quiet neighborhood located in the West Island, which is part of the Montreal island. This part of Montreal is known as the West Island has a lot of different communities. People who have never heard of it often confuse it with a separate island facing west. Amanda Brugel was born there and her time there was short. Brugel grew on Courtice close to Oshawa within Ontario. Her first ambition was to be a dancer. Then, a growth spurt caused her to outgrow her dance partners she was able to have. According to an article in the Toronto Star, she revealed that she wore heels and was six feet and one inch tall. After I surpassed my male counterparts and gave up, I decided to give up. A lot of former dancers go on to acting, and in Brugel's situation, it was a nudge from an instructor in drama at high school which led her in the right direction. The teacher suggested she try to find a role in school's annual production.
